ok i shall try to finish updating before the end of today which apparently i have around 20 minutes left.

anyways.

this week is sabbatical week

and WE, the NON BIO CLASS
are actually having ADVANCED LIFE SCIENCE which equals to BIOLOGY!

so exciting right.

so.

the sabbatical started with ms lye revising with us on DNA. it was quite fun haha..
and practical was.. i forgot.. haha with ms vani.

second day. we had a new teacher called mr justin. and our assistant teacher or whatever you call that person is mr yan you wai ( i dunno how to spell his name). but anyways. it was quite fun with all the AGE and micropipetting and stuff. introduction to proteins and so on.

third day which is today.
was spent at the mackintosh lab. apple computers!
anyway. we were doing BLAST and GENSCAN.
the sequences are so cool can!
haha. anything you don't know? BLAST IT!

ok. i like mr justin and his stories. they are so cool. and mr yan (oh, ms vani accidentally called him you tiao. haha) was being very nice.
we had IQ questions and our class solved it! yay! (mr justin! you owe me a moo moo ice cream!)
and then we gave the two teachers an IQ question:
this sentence has _ 0s, _1s, _2s, _3s, _4s, _5s, _6s, _7s, _8s, _9s. (you can try it if you want to)
and mr justin, being the smart person he is actually solved it in the twenty minutes that we were using to watch a video on dna (jurassic park apparently). but someone.. haha.. went to search on the net for the answer. tsktsk. anyways it was fun!

oh we were talking about X and Y chromosomes and mr justin told us that there are some guys who have like XXY or XXXY or XXXXY or XXXXXY chromosomes in them and they will develop breasts and have high pitch voice and this happens 1 in every 500 males. according to mr yan who was from hc (mr justin too), there are roughly around 2000 students in hci, and so, there will be actually 4 guys in hci who is like that. haha!

what else.. hmm.. oh mr justin said i need to eat more carrots. or i have premature aging. HEY! i don't have premature aging okay! and i eat alot of carrots. RAH.

okay this sabbatical is not as bad as i think it to be. i think i will miss mr justin and mr yan. i think they are cool haha.

ok on to after school. IT WAS TEACHERS' DAY AUDITIONS.
and our class was to perform miracle dance. one thing i can say. we rock! and eileen is so pro. she can like chereo a part in such a short time. i love 405. we can zi high so easily. and im glad we are so bonded. the teachers say our dance got potential okay! haha. so we might just get in. im happy!

after that went to eat roti prata with woons, zhiying, wee, eve, shiqi, jingyu, val and hui juan. it's like a mini class gathering! and we talked a lot a lot. haha. we can link from what cca to take in jc, to mr justin, to genes, back to jc cca, to uni cca, to going overseas, to prague (i totally miss that place) to taiwan and everywhere around. somewhere i remember we were talking about contact lenses and specs. and milk powder and skin colour. everything is just so random. haha. the power of the girls! i shall say again..

I LOVE 405!!

dance tomorrow! haha im going to die. NOT! just need to perfect my steps a bit more. jiayou!
